Alsace Press Trip - September 2022

Emma hosted a petite posse of particularly pleasant, presentable and punctual Press in the picture postcard Alsace region for four days.  David Williams, Simon Field, Libby Brodie, Sophia Longhi and Mark Crawford (WSET Scholarship winner) visited a heady mix of established and emerging talents. All professed themselves pleasantly surprised by the drier styles of wine in evidence, the serious nature of many of the Crémants and a host of innovative winemaking practices, including a number of… the future’s bright, the future’s orange… wines. Too many highlights to list them all, so here are just a few photo souvenirs. Alsace Rocks!
